Our studio just got back from Northern italy. Firenze, Venezia, Verona, Vinenza and Milano.
before I talk about each city we in here's an over view of what we did.

When we were in Firenze
We climbed to thee top of the Duomo of Santa Maria del Fiore up 463 steps. We saw the tomb of Galileo and Michelangelo. And had a group dinner.

When we were in Venezia
The city was beautiful. I went to mass in San Marco's and visited Palladio churches. I also went to the cemetery where I stumbled upon a tombstone with my family name Alesi on it from 1907. I also made it the Island of Murano where all the glass is made.

When we were in Verona
We spent a half day there, but it was beautiful and sunny. We visited a Scarpa bank to look at the Facade and we also went to a museum called the castelvecchio museum, every detail was unbelievable.

When we were in Vincenza
We explored Palladio's building and went to the Villa Capra aka La Rotonda. We also had a group dinner and some time to ourselves where I ended up sketching another Palladio building

When we were in Milano
We visited and climbed to the top of the Doumo and saw the Galleria Vittorio Emmanuele. Then we had free time, where we went to see La scala Castello and a contemporary art museum. The last day we toured Milano with guiding architects until it was time to go home.

When we thought we were all set to go back to rome our train broke down and we were stuck for 2 and a half hours until another train came to pick us up. It really was a great adventure.
